Hillwalking

Rhidorroch is an excellent base for walking holidays. Close to Ullapool in Wester Ross, it lies within easy driving distance from some of the highlands’ most challenging peaks such as Suilven, An Teallach and Ben Dearg. Moreover, one of the region’s most remote Munros, Seana Braigh, is accessible by foot direct from the Lodge. For more gentle walking there are good tracks in the glen and a wealth of coastal and cliff-top paths to explore.

Climbing

Ullapool attracts climbers from all over the world and the Lodge (with accommodation for 10 people) is a great meeting place for climbing clubs. This area boasts a wealth of famous rock climbs, stacks and vertiginous sea cliffs.
There is a climbing wall at the Lochbroom Leisure Centre.
