The hill farm has grazing for cattle and sheep and we farm on an organic system to produce beef and lamb. The stock also help improve the land’s fertility and keep down the vegetation to encourage bio-diversity.

The hill cattle are home bred shorthorn Galloway or highland X then an Aberdeen Angus bull is used to produce the beef. The cattle winter on the farm at Coulmore on the Black Isle.

The sheep are pure bred Cheviot, small and hardy they lamb in May and are fattened in February.

We keep a supply of beef, lamb and venison in the deep freeze if you would like to try some .For larger orders please ring us on +44(0)1463 731360.

If you are staying at the lodge you can order a meat box ready for your arrival or we can have one delivered anywhere in the country for an extra £10. .
