Ullapool is just 55 miles (one hour’s drive) from Inverness, and the eight miles from Ullapool to Rhidorroch take about half an hour.
Take the A9 north from Inverness to join the A835 to Ullapool. When you reach Ullapool, pass the filling station on your right and follow the main road which turns sharp right. Continue north on this road for a further half mile then turn right into the Morefield Quarry entrance (just before bridge). Drive straight through the quarry and continue up through the glen. After the first four miles the road becomes a gravel track, continue for another four miles, through the black gate to the car park (flat grass area), walk across the swing bridge and 200 metres to East Rhidorroch.

In low water, a 4 wheel drive vehicle can cross the ford.
Please ring us if you would like more details or help with your luggage.
The hill road continues on for four miles and is only for 4 wheel drive vehicles to access the fishing.
